Already with several weeks of playing in the Mayfair and SLFA GMLFA league the players continue to show progress, we start with the Mayfair league, we realize that players who registered this year have improved a lot in their development and that this is the most important part since the players could demonstrate in the league matches and those who do not play could observe it in the friendly matches that are played. This is a good incentive for APAA where the coaches’ primary task is for the players to advance in their development. The other important part is that many players come without any knowledge in the tactical part, this obviously is not learned in a short time, so it is gradual development by the player, but the players are learning their positions and the operation of each position.
We are seeing players who have a future in the short and long term, that is very important, as well as the seriousness that each one of them takes, we know that we play the league from 11 years old to 20 years old, that is why the evaluations are always done as an individual and as a team player.
Continuing with the other Soweto league, all the divisions are also progressing enormously in their development. In this league, the divisions of U13, U14, U15, and U.17 are played. We must remember that there are players who have been playing for several years in APAA and has a great future ahead. I am sure that some of them, in the short and long term, will play professionally and abroad only in a matter of time.
The practices rise every day with a lot of intensity , let’s remember that the best players of the APAA academy are graduated to the development and the process is the same that is why we have to follow the observations of both organizations within the APAA here in this Soweto league yes travel to different venues with stronger rivals in Mayfair and we play on our field.
