As happens every year, the graduation of players from the academy to the development stage is gratifying, as the talent of all the players is recognised. Those who have not graduated eagerly await the next year to pass, as development is a process that requires patience. Thus, the aim is to take the players to another level and continue developing each of them so that they become better players in the future. This technical observation can be in the short or long term, as some players graduate within months after registering, while others take more time.
We have players who have been registered since they were 6 years old and have graduated after 5 or 6 years, while others are still in the academy. The passion to play and learn to become a better player is the most important thing. Not everyone will become a professional player, as it is a mix of playing and studying. Some follow a professional career and continue playing, while others focus solely on their studies to become professional players.
Therefore, our work involves motivating and explaining that studying and football go hand in hand. Many players enjoy practicing and playing in t
he SAFA league, and the support of family members is crucial. The training of each player is significant, emphasizing education, discipline, and future success. Developing from an early age is essential; there is no age limit to play soccer, and while starting earlier is preferable, all ages are appropriate.
Today, we recognize all the players who graduated in 2022 to play in the APAA development stage for the 2023 season, which has already concluded with great success. This recognition is important, and we value their commitment to continuing their development as the best players.
They will continue in 2024, but they must continue working hard to stay in the development stage, as their actions are essential. APAA will continue to inform the players who graduated in 2023 about the 2024 season. Our priority is to develop all players, wishing them good luck and success in the years to come.
