APAA CONTINUES ITS PRACTICES TO KICK OFF THE 2025 SEASON

With great enthusiasm, we have begun our training sessions. We have now completed a month of practice and can already see players showcasing great talent. Some players have been with us for years, while others are new additions to the academy.

The coaches conducted the first technical evaluation to help improve player development. It is always important to focus on the technical aspects first before moving on to tactics, as technical skills are closely linked to physical conditioning.

We have also started the season with new uniforms, allowing players to familiarize themselves with one another. Camaraderie and mutual respect among players are crucial for their growth. Parents play a vital role as well, observing and encouraging all participants.

It is important to clarify the different age groups in our academy:

U10: Players under 10 years old

U12: Players aged 11 and 12

U14: Players aged 13 and 14

U16: Players aged 15 and 16

U18: Players aged 17 and 18

Senior players: Players above 18 years old

These groups are clearly defined, and identifying players by age is essential for their development. Training sessions take place on Mondays and Thursdays, focusing on key soccer elements such as technique. On Saturdays, players engage in full matches, adapting to different field sizes and team formats.

We are currently in the first phase, where observation is crucial. We will continue to provide updates on our progress, always striving to develop each player to their fullest potential, guiding them toward higher levels of competition and growth.

Best regards,

Prof. Augusto Palacios

Director of the Academy
