APAA Welcomes All Players This Season and Continues to Focus on Player Development

Three weeks into training sessions for both registered participants and individuals undergoing evaluation, notable enthusiasm and emerging talent have been observed. The initial phase is dedicated to assessing players’ strengths and refining skills developed in previous years.

Technical proficiency remains the primary focus, particularly during the first stage, which includes players aged 5 to 12. Emphasis is placed on coordination, flexibility, agility, and core technical fundamentals such as ball control with both feet, short stationary and moving passes, and heading ability. Group games are incorporated to foster familiarity among players.

For athletes aged 13 and above, the program follows a similar structure, concentrating on physical conditioning, coordination, and advanced technical and tactical skills. Coaches, already acquainted with many of the players, are preparing for the upcoming league season through ongoing evaluations and adjustments to the program.

By March, the academy will have a comprehensive understanding of each player’s level and will make any necessary changes to ensure progress. APAA acknowledges and appreciates the support of parents who entrust the academy with their children’s continued development.

Registration remains open. Updates will be provided regularly, and individual player identification within each group will commence soon. The academy emphasizes balancing academic responsibilities with soccer and recognizes the importance of family involvement in both aspects of players’ lives.
