AUGUSTO PALACIOS APPRENTICE ACADEMY RECALLING HIS SUCCESSES IN YOUNG PLAYERS.

All these years I always started to think that one day the players who are in my academy will be able to reach a high level playing in professional teams both locally and internationally, that represent their country at all levels and that they can help their families in the part economical since most always come from a middle class family where logically it depends on them when they reach this level to maintain their discipline, their performances and consistency in games since the club always supports them and the press will be attentive to them.

Thank God that something has been achieved with 5 players who came to play for PSL, these players always developed at an early age, which is the most important thing, and that always makes us think that South Africa has great talent in the future, what happens that time patience and knowing how to develop these players is very important. I do not want to say that only my presence is has attributed to the levels of playing but also the coaches who work
with me but years ago coaches like Thabo Senong, Teboho Moloi, Iam Palmer Willian Okpara, Junior Benghu Mandla Qhobi and many more who collaborated grew up in this academy and I could mention many more but my respect and admiration to all who put their support in developing these and many more players.

Now with a new generation of Coaches such as Thuso tshabalala Elvis Radebe Maditse Lakaje Thandisizwe Mraqisa Tshepo Moeletsi Lebohang Mokoena Nhlanhla Sithole and many more who continue to work in this academy. We also growing coaches the majority also come from the townships.

If we start with Mbulu Siphelele he played several games for the Orlando Pirates Team in others division until he promoted to the Professional team now he play in NFD in Sekhukhune , he also play in SA national team U20 with Coach Thabo Senong , Lyle Foster striker international player promoted to Orlando Pirates from very young age of 16 year played for the U17 selections , U20, U23 Bafana Bafana and was transferred to Monaco de France now in Portugal in Vitoria SC, following Thabiso Monyane another player from a very young age also promoted to Orlando Pirates of 16 years and continue play in the professional team ,then played for the U17, U20 and U23 Olympic team  classified for Japan Olympic 2021 , filling the list with Agustin Makhlonoko who was promoted very young to Orlando Pirates is now playing in Baroka finishing this group of talented players Azola Tshobeni. He promoted to Pirates and after couple of year he played in professional team with good start.

It is an honour to remember these players who had their footsteps for years in this academy which continues to develop more players and at the same time there are players who are still in the Orlando Pirates. We will continue to inform about the se players who come from my academy not for the fact of mentioning, but rather that people passionate about soccer know the story of these players and others who will leave this academy.

The academy has players in Pirates and in different teams that very soon will be promoted to the professional teams.

We continue to recruit many more players since SA has natural talent  that can be developed with patience. As I always said, football is like school it is a faster learning than others but the talent and intelligence is there that is why it is important to observe and Analyse the individual players and then as a team, the work must also come from the individual since that is where errors are corrected more.

We continue to work a lot in this aspect,  these mentioned players are at another level, they have to continue developing until they reach the best and not make mistakes on the field, so there work must be continuous.

A great satisfaction for the academy is to be able to get players to play at another level, congratulations to all and to all who are still on the right track, the academy is proud of you and you are part of the history of this academy.

We will continue to inform you
